Last week, we had an exciting week! Hazel turned 1 year old on Wednesday, June 3rd! On her birthday, Jesse made her a pancake in the shape of a one. She loved it! That day we went to our play group, and then celebrated with Grandee and Grandad by having a great dinner together!
What Hazel likes as a one year old:
Facing forward in her new car seat
Anything Elmo!
Reading books and playing in her closet with toys
Swimming and playing in the baby pool
Giving her stuffed animals, Copper and us "lovin"
Crawling up the stairs!
Walking and pushing her new baby stroller
Carrying little things, like medicine tubes around the house
Dancing, every time she hears music-bopping her head and bouncing

Her birthday party was on Saturday. We tried to have a simple party, but there was still so many things to do to get ready for it. My TO DO list kept growing! Everything was accomplished in time, and the party was a huge success! The kids played outside in the baby pool, sprinkler and sand box, and had so much fun. Hazel really enjoyed her big piece of chocolate cake! It was so fun to have all of her little friends and cousins there to celebrate with her!

Yes, I made the cake :) My mom helped me. It was actually easier than I thought it would be.
Can she really be? We sure know that she has blessed you all year! Hope to meet her in person some day soon?!
