Jesse and I finally got away on a little trip (a Staycation) and went to Houston with some friends last weekend! Even though we only went for one night, it was so freeing to travel with out the usual baby gear in tow! We had so much fun discovering some new places downtown with some great friends, Jen and Philip!

Walking to the Hogg Estate. A really neat historic home and gardens on Bayou Bend. 
Visiting the Beer can HouseHazel didn't seem to miss us at all and loved spending time with Aunt Ash, Dawson and Grandee. Here is a video of Dawson and Hazel entertaining eachother!
