The month of April has flown by!

 Eli is 20 months old!
Eli likes to ride around the house on the plasma car, play in the water table on the patio, read books, and likes to watch Brainy Baby every day! He now hands us the remote and says, "Show", and "Baby" so we will turn Brainy Baby on the TV.
He likes to sleep with his puppy and a few other stuffed animals. His vocabulary is growing, and he tries to repeat most words. He and Hazel make us smile, and laugh every day!

                                                   
                                        

 April 12th-15th- Jesse and I went to New York City!!
We loved seeing all of the sites, eating delicious food, and having some peaceful, kid free time together!  We walked around the entire city, so it wasn't a very relaxing trip, but it was so fun and a much needed getaway! (First trip since Hazel was 2 years old, 3 years ago!)

New York has so many beautiful parks, buildings and flowers in bloom this time of year!  A few highlights from our trip: seeing the city from the top of Rockefeller Center, walking around Central Park, the brownstones and bakeries in Chelsea, walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, seeing old friends at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

                We loved Madison Square Park, it was beautiful and close to our hotel.
