Eli and Hazel getting so big!

Our very active boy has suddenly developed a love for TV, especially the show Paw Patrol! He has been very unlike his older sister and never really watched TV until recently. Something seemed to click, and now he will sit long enough to watch a whole episode. He asks daily to watch TV and wants to watch two episodes in a row! While it has been a nice little break for me, I don't want him to get sucked into the TV either, so I will have to monitor how much he watchers. :)

I am encouraged by his longer attention span. He will now let us do flash cards with him and is getting more interested in leaning his colors, numbers, shapes, etc. He now can count to 10, knows most of the colors and shapes. Raising a boy has been a learning experience for me; they develop so differently than girls. It is truly a blessing to be able to experience motherhood with a son and a daughter!

My sweet Hazel and Eli watching Paw Patrol, Eli's favorite show!

Hazel got her ears pierced!! She made up her mind one day and so we took her to Sweet and sassy after school on Thursday, Oct. 16th. Jesse and I were pretty amazed that Hazie went through with the pricing. She almost cried, but held back the tears and was so brave. She was really excited to pick out her first earnings and looked so adorable, and a little more grown up!
