The Hill Family: Spring Break!

Spring Break March 8th-13th

The week of spring break was accompanied by rain, cousins and a lot of fun!!

Sunday- We went to the Conroe Art League Spring Art Show with Grandee and Aunt Mandi.
Hazel won her first, 1st place ribbon! We sure were proud of our budding artist. Grandee had a lot of fun introducing us to all of her art league friends. Hazel was so excited to get a blue ribbon and thought it was pretty special. Eli and Hazel liked seeing all of the art and had a great time. Hazel's favorite art was a glass sculpture and Eli's favorite part was the yummy snacks!

Monday- I took the kids to Bouncing Bears with friends from Hazel's class and then to Chick-Fil-A with our good friends, The Gooch girls :)

Tuesday- I took Hazel, Kade and Hazie to the Children's museum! One of our favorite spots!

Wednesday- Hazel and I had a girly day! Eli had pre-school, so her and I went shopping and out to lunch at a place of her choosing: Chipotle. We went to the mall and met up with grandee and Averi. We rode the carousal and shopped for Averi's birthday!

Thursday- We went to the Houston Rodeo! Luckily the rain held out, and we were able to do all of the outdoor activities in the drizzle. The kids had a lot of fun seeing all of the animals with their cousins. Grandee took the kids home and we got to have a date night at the Zac Brown Band Concert. Whoop!

Friday-Sunday- Our first of many trips to Georgetown, TX! We went to visit Eli's favorite cousins, Meredith and Caleb! We were excited to see Aunt Ash and Uncle Brian's new home. The kids had a great time playing all weekend and we loved our time together. Eli has been asking to see Meredith and Caleb every day since they moved! It will be hard to only see them every few months now! We went to eat at a cool restaurant, Hat Creek Burger Co. It had an awesome outdoor playground and eating area.
On Saturday we met Rosemary and Bob at Inner space Caverns, ate at Dos Salsas and then went to San Gabriel River.
