Events in March...

This month we have enjoyed the beautiful bluebonnets in bloom!

My friend Stephanie captured some wonderful pictures of Hazel and Eli at Creekside park. We decided last minute to do a photo shoot, so we weren't sure how they would turn out, luckily she was able to take some adorable pictures!

Eli is almost 8 months old and is the sweetest little boy, but can be quite high maintenance at times! He requires a lot of attention and loves to be entertained and held. Luckily, his big sis helps out and entertains him often. They play really well together and love each other. His first two teeth are coming in and he learned to say "dada." He loves strolling around the house in his walker and loves to play peek-a-boo! He is not crawling yet, but likes to try to pull up on me. He still wakes up 1-2 times a night and hasn't been a consistent sleeper at night, but sleeps through the night occasionally. He naps around 9 a.m. and then around 1 p.m. I love having a little boy and feel so lucky to be he and Hazel's mommy!
Hazel is almost 4 yrs. old and has finally accomplished what seemed impossible...she is finally going #2 on the potty (she was still hiding and not always going in potty) and just started wearing undies to bed. She has been staying dry every night for a couple of months now! Prior to having children, I didn't think potty training would end up being the most difficult stage of rearing toddlers! Maybe Eli will be easier to train. She has enjoyed going to pre-school on Friday's and surprises us daily with her memory, silly songs, and how smart she is!
She likes to climb our fig tree :)
We went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with grandma this year again on the 14th. Hazel even stayed up late and got to see the concert. We really enjoyed the concert, The Band Perry. They were great! Hazel didn't like the "fire poppers" (fire works), but really liked seeing all of the livestock, rodeo events and concert. We had a great time with our big girl, while Eli stayed home with my parents.
