We had a great visit in North Carolina with Ashlei's family last week! My mom, Eli, Hazel and I flew to NC on April 29 and stayed until the 8th. We got to celebrate the twins 1st birthday as well as Eli turning 9 months while we were there. Having 5 children under the age of 4 was a little hectic and crazy, especially since Eli and Hazel got sick with a cold and then infected Caleb and Meredith. We felt bad bringing a cold to the twins on their birthday! Despite having sick children, we still made the best of it and went strawberry picking, spent the day at the beach, went to Chuck E. Cheese, a jump place, did all the preparation for the twins party and celebrated their first birthday! It was so neat to all be together on their birthday, and we are sad it will be a while until we are together again!
