Making special memories with my family is one of my favorite things to do! We have managed to cram so many fun activities into the past few months. Throughout the summer we have enjoyed play dates with friends and exciting times with family! Here are the highlights from our fun filled summer...
Sweet friends, Hazel and Claire
Lake Conroe for Memorial Day weekend
Eli loves riding on the boat!
June 10th-Grandee Camp 2013
Hazel had the best time with her cousins at her first year of Grandee Camp! (The grandkids have to wait until they are five years old to join the fun!) Hazel, Sophie, Lane, Kade, and Andrew got to go to my aunt's cabin in east Texas for a few days. The kids had so much fun, doing arts and crafts, playing in the lake, and fishing. Our family sure is blessed with a very creative, patient and fun grandee!!
Lake Conroe for 4th of July
Eli was so brave and even rode on the tube with daddy! Hazel was not as brave as her little brother:)
Eli and Hazel stayed up late to watch the awesome fire works show over the lake! Tiff's family got to come along too! This was our kids first real fireworks show. In the past we have only seen them in the distance. It was a spectacular show!
July- 8th-12th
Hopepoint Church VBS
Hazel had so much fun at VBS with her friends, Fintan, Julianna and Audrey. The theme was Sundae School...right up Hazel's sweet tooth alley!
July 23rd- 28th "Meredith Family Girls Trip!"
My sisters, mom and I had the opportunity to spend 5 nights with each other making awesome memories in one of the prettiest places, Grand Cayman. A few of my favorite things we did while on our vacation, Jet Ski Tour to Stingray Island, snorkeling, Star Fish Point, bioluminescent kayak trip, visiting the Turtle Farm, eating fish tacos at Sunshine Grill, and dinner at Alfresco's. One of the best things about our entire trip... spending a week in paradise without any "mommy" worries!! Hazel and Eli got to have a fun week, spending quality time with daddy. I was proud of Jesse's Mr . Mom skills!
July 29th-Aug. 1st
United Methodist Church VBS
The theme was, It's a Big Yard! Hazel had fun car-pooling with our neighbors, Gracie and Jack.
