Eli turns 2 years old!!

I can't believe our baby boy is 2 years old! Our family is so complete with a boy and we thank God for blessing us with such a sweet, little guy! Eli is becoming more of a wild and crazy little boy these days...throwing toys, acting silly and rough housing with daddy!

Eli's stats at two-
Weight- 30 pounds
Height- 34.5 inches

He naps around 1:00-2:30 p.m. and sleeps really well at night. He loves to say "motorcycle" all the time, and thinks every thing is the color pink!? He doesn't really like to watch TV with Hazel, but still loves the show Brainy Baby. His favorite book is Big Birds first book of ABC's and Trucks. He is still a momma's boy and likes to be held! He loves "nacks"(snacks), all the time! He and Hazel were similar at this age...he doesn't throw fits very often, but if he does, it usually has something to do with food!! He loves playing with Hazel and is going to be really lonely once she starts kindergarden!

Our family celebrated Eli all weekend, Saturday, the 3rd we had a small, family birthday party at my parent's house. Sunday, we loaded up for the drive to San Antonio. Our first stop was the Alamo, and river walk. It was very hot, so we had a quick visit and cooled off with ice cream! We stayed near Sea World for two nights and loved our experience at Sea World! Staying in a hotel room with 2 kids for the first time was a little tricky, but we managed. Eli got to sleep in a big bed with Hazel for the first time. She was the one who woke up at 4:30 a.m., looking for her blanket. :(

Spending Eli's 2nd birthday at Sea World was so special and fun! We loved the shows, rides and splash pad in the new sesame street area. It was so much fun to see the kid's expressions as they saw all of the amazing sea creatures and rode the rides. Hazel was brave and rode the little Shamu roller coaster and the water raft ride!

We were quite tired after two days in the heat, staying up late and the long drive to and from San Antonio, but the trip was still a blast!!
