The first day of school!!

Aug. 26th- Hazel started Kindergarten at Timber Creek Elementary!

Jesse, Eli and I took Hazel to school, after taking first day pictures of course. She was giddy and excited the first morning and seemed happy to be left in her new classroom. We went to a "Boo Hoo" Breakfast for the kindergarten parents after dropping her off. Luckily, there were no tears! The first week of school was long and tiring for our sweet girl, but she seemed to enjoy school, especially art and PE. She already said, "I don't want to go to kindergarten," and "When is kindergarten going to be over?" Uh, oh...she has a long 9 months ahead of her!! I wish there was a shorter day for kindergarten, but I think her body will adjust and she will get used to the daily schedule soon.  The day is a long one, 8:55 a.m.-3:55 p.m.

 Eli and I went to eat lunch with Hazie on Friday of her first week, and  plan to do it weekly!

Sept. 4th- Eli's first day of Pre-School at the Early Learning Program!

Eli's school had a meet the teacher last week, where we got to meet his two precious teachers, Ms. Gina and Ms. Nikole. I am so excited that he will be able to play and learn in such a loving environment! I am really looking forward to having one morning a week to run errands, kid free! His school is from 9 a.m.-noon, but they give you the option to stay until 3 p.m., so I plan to take advantage of that occassionally!

On his first day, Eli went right in the room and started playing at the water table. He is such a big boy and is going to love the fun he will have at school.
