A birthday week extravaganza...as we joked with Hazel!

Hazel's Birthday!
Hazel turned 6 on Tuesday, so we went to eat lunch with her at school and brought her class cupcakes! She wanted Frozen cupcakes, but the grocery stores were all out of Frozen cupcake toppers, so we went with Repunzel! She was giddy and excited all day! We went to the restaurant of her choice, Red Robin for dinner. The waiters sang Happy Birthday and brought her a sundae. Aunt Ashlei and the kids came over after dinner for a second round of cupcakes!

Hazel with some of her girlfriends- Faryn, Brodie, Grace and Makalya

The last day of kindergarten was an early release day on Thursday! Hazel got to invite two friends to go to Sweet and Sassy after school for a birthday treat. Jordin, Claire and Hazel got the Rainbow Mermaid Makeover, complete with a manicure, rainbow makeup, and a braid. The girls had a lot of fun and enjoyed watching Frozen while they were pampered.

Galveston
On our way to Galveston, we stopped at NASA to check out the Saturn Rocket. The kids loved seeing a real rocket! We went to Schlitterbahn water park on Friday, and the kids absolutely loved it! They were timid at first, but ended up being very brave and rode all the big slides with Jesse and I on a double tube. We stayed all day, and had so much fun in the sun! On Saturday we played at the beach and at the hotel pool. We walked around the strand and ate lunch, before heading home.

The kids didn't seem to mind all the stinky seaweed!
